Intermittent cold pack on the site for 1 hour after the treatment. Please avoid exposing the treated area to heat. Avoid spa, sauna, gyms, and swimming pools for 3-7 days, until inflammation subsides. Keep the treated area away from the sun and apply SPF30+ sunscreen over it for at least a month afterwards. If a soft scab forms, allow it to dry out by itself. Do not pick the treated area.

Is it true that it hurts a lot?
People who received treatment with traditional NS laser often described it’s more painful than getting the tattoo done. However, it is noticeably reduced with PicoWay due to its ultra-short pulses. We have the DermaChill chilled air blower which greatly decreases the discomfort. Many clients find they can manage without numbing cream, but the option is still available for those who need it.
How many treatments will I need? How long is it between treatments?
The treatments are typically 6-12 weeks apart. Number of sessions required depends on many aspects, including ink type, skin type, tattoo size, and location of the tattoo. Multisession discount packages are available.

PicoWay Resolve treatments come with short downtime. The treated area will be red and hot like a case of mild sunburn for half a day. The heat sensation goes away after 4-6 hours. The skin can be cleaned with gentle cleanser straight away. Most people wake up the next morning with mild redness on their skin. Many people put on make-up straight away, but it is best to leave until the next day. Acne scar treatment tends to have slightly longer red period, about 1.5 days.

415 nm Blue Light – Antibacterial
The 415 nm Acne Treatment targets the bacteria that causes acne and reduces inflammation. Why 415nm? Because not all blue lights are the same. 415nm blue light has 30% more effective absorption rate compared to 420nm blue light. Dermalux delivers specifically selected wavelengths to ensure optimal results.
Deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, clarifying mask prior to LED exposure further enhances the results.
633nm Red Light – Rejuvenating

How many treatments will I need?
For optimum activation of your skin, an intensive course of 12 treatments taken once to twice weekly is recommended.
Then take one or two boost treatments to energise your skin before a special event or as an on-going maintenance.
Does it hurt? Are there any side effects?
The LED light treatments are completely non-invasive and pain-free. Some people might experience slight, transient redness afterwards that resembles a healthy glow.

How long is the down time?
